Weston Park 2010   South East 

Many congratulations to you all on your performances so far this season.  As a result I am pleased to offer you a place on the squad to represent the South East atWeston Park this year.

As you can see there are 11 of you on the list.  As a region we are only able to take 10 combinations and from those ten I have to name the ‘team’ of eight to be the qualifying scores for the team competition, the other two running as individuals.  I am sure that by the time Weston arrives there will have been a natural fall out (could it really be possible not to have a lame horse?).  ALSO this year for the first time the qualifications are being brought into line with the 1* qualifications, and there are more than a couple of you that have not yet reached these criteria, (Namely 6 Novice clear x-c runs with no more than 16 sj penalties).  There is plenty of time between now and September to rectify this.

I would like you all in the next couple of days to ring Mark and talk him through your plans for the next eight weeks, so that we can ensure that all the fitness work is done in plenty of time. 

The two day training will take place on Tues/Wed 24/25 August at Marks house. More details later.
